How much are they willing to pay for it? Starting at a high level, how and in what formats are AR users consuming the experience? AR features in non-AR apps? But more interesting is what lies beyond these platforms. The second area is Web AR. These are AR experiences delivered in the mobile browser. Here are 10 times Misty had to knock Ash down a peg or two. The gang is out in the woods camping on their journey.
When they get hungry Brock, with a terrible accent says "And for a special snack for you I have zese French crepes. Brock tells them he can't cook anything if he doesn't have a fire, so someone has to go fetch some. Since Ash ruined her daydreams, Misty volunteers him for the job so she can stay behind and relax. Misty is out fishing when something tugs at her pole. She reels it in hoping for something big.
Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu come flying at her. And a Pokemon. Oh, are you okay? She tells him where to find a hospital for Pikachu and he nabs her bicycle which leads to multiple other jabs she gets him with later in the series. The trio is at a fair to have some fun. Misty gets suckered into helping a man out with his magic show.
She tries her best, but his show is boring no matter what he does. This was a massive undertaking, defining the exact boundaries on personal property. This encompassed more than rural land parcels, although that was certainly the focus: other records transcribed included the boundaries of whole counties and towns.
Having a record like this was deemed of particular importance during the years of feudalism in England, when the king was considered the only true owner of land in the nation. Accounting for the land occupied by his underlings was key when approaching the subject of tithes. So too did the role of the surveyor, with many scientific discoveries impacting the surveying world. By the late 18th century, British mathematician Jesse Ramsden was revolutionising the profession with high accuracy surveying instruments — including a perfected version of the theodolite.
At the dawn of the industrial revolution in the 19th century, surveying was booming, as the demand for road, railway, canal, building and city constructions grew like never before. To match this, the equipment grew ever-more sophisticated.
With the 20th century and the arrival of computer technology and orbiting satellites, surveying was set to change once again. Surveying has only continued to develop in the years since, with technology and equipment becoming increasingly advanced and digitalised.
GPS and 3D imaging have been added into the mix, but not surprisingly the basic methods of land surveying have remained the most prominent. To acknowledge other categories, product visualization 25 percent and visual search 24 percent offer users value.
As shown in Google Lens , visual search is not only valuable to users but has commercial potential. Google views it as another input to cultivate monetizable search. The ability to pull out your phone and identify items — commercial or not — can happen in lots of daily contexts. So it has the potential for a key AR success factor: frequency.
