We use the skate park, tennis courts, indoor rock climbing, go-karting and aquatic center.

I'm a big fan of the Night Quarter, a night market with local food, drink and live music on a Friday and Saturday night. The Westfield is always handy and the train to Brisbane was a massive drawcard. We haven't tried taking the new tram to Broadbeach yet but at least it's there if we want a night out with drinks at the Casino!

The move from Sydney was a huge decision but we have not regretted it. The lifestyle is less stress and traffic and more time to actually enjoy life!

Moved to Monterey keys a year ago and love it. In a very quiet culdesac very minimal traffic and very family friendly with kids all playing in street. I have been to all other areas and personally like the northern end of Gold Coast more than South.

Having sold real estate in this suburb for almost 10 years I know most of the residents and properties in the area. It is a fantastic region with easy access to the train, M1 highway, plenty of modern schools, great shopping and is just far enough away from Surfers Paradise! Love It!!! For any real estate need, give me a bell on Helensvale is perfectly located on the northern end of the Gold Coast and is 2mins to the M1 and 2 mins to train station.

It has a fantastic blend of older folks as well as young families creating a great mix of people calling Helensvale home. It is an extremely safe suburb that has all the amenities one could ask for.

I have lived in Helensvale for over 10 years now from the southern states and I am very proud to call Helensvale home. I would recommend Helensvale to anyone thinking of relocating to this fantastic area. Helensvale has been badly hit by the GFC and many people are losing there homes due to rising interest rates. Still prices in the suburb are too expensive for my liking. On the plus side Helensvale Westfield is a nice new shopping centre.

I will happily live in this suburb for the next 40 years. Well established, green and leafy. Excellent links to Brisbane for work or nights out. Good shopping and eating out. Not all of Monterey Keys is a gated community.

We are in a very quiet street in a home on the water. We enjoy feeding the ducks on the lake and having swans come and visit. At night the only sound is the fish jumping! The neighbours are friendly and there is no traffic noise. There is a large sporting oval and a number of smaller local parks. It takes us 15 minutes to get to the beach or the Hinterland and 5 minutes to get to the local Westfield Shopping Centre.

All in all its the ideal lifestyle. We have been here for seven years and cannot recommend it highly enough. Helensvale is located at the base of Tamborine Mountain about 10 minutes from Labrador beach. It's the epitome of modern consumerist suburbia. It's existence is based around the Westfield shopping centre that's smack dab in the middle of the suburb.

Where is Mount White? Where is Fair Hill? The residential development was completed in with a 69 unit complex. Helensvale's unique parkland design and its relationship with Canberra, Australia's pre-eminent Garden-City, provide a point of contrast to its canal estate in the north and the many water-based suburbs elsewhere on the Gold Coast.
